Obituary

Age 55, of Elliott, unexpectedly, on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. Beloved husband of Donna L. Kierski. Son of the late Andrew and Bess (Schmiedeke) Hankowsky. Brother of Nancy Jean (Tom) Gerhringer, Chris Hankowsky, and Lou (Kim) Hankowsky. Brother-in-law of David (Rebecca) Kierski and Patty (Richard) Timmons. Uncle of Lou Hankowsky, Kate Timmons, and Brian Timmons. Bernie is also survived by his best friend, Mark Jezowicz.

As per Bernie’s wishes, there will be no visitation. All services were held privately for the family. Arrangements are entrusted to ANTHONY G. STAAB FUNERAL HOME, INC., 900 Chartiers Ave., Pgh, PA 15220.
