Obituary
Age 63, of Elliott, formerly of Carnegie, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. Beloved husband of Mary Anne Splane-Zuk. Loving brother of George (Darlene) Zuk. Brother-in-law of Kathleen Splane and the late James "Mickey" Splane. Son of the late George and LaVerne (Thys) Zuk. Uncle of Steven (Sunshine) Zuk, Matthew (Jessica) Zuk, and Natalie Luffy. Dave will be sadly missed by many loving great-nieces and great-nephews, but especially his dog Clara. Dave worked for Giant Eagle for many years in various positions, but most recently as a Dairy Lead. He also used to work in the concession stands at PNC Park just so he could watch the Pirates play. Dave was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan that loved to watch and cheer on his Steelers, Pirates and Pens.
Friends received 2-7 p.m. on Sunday at ANTHONY G. STAAB FUNERAL HOME, INC., 900 Chartiers Ave., Pgh, PA 15220. A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. with the burial to follow in St. Martin Cemetery.
