Obituary

Age 90, of Crafton Heights, on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. Beloved husband of sixty-six years to Sylvia J. (Krol) Dobis. Loving father of Kenny (Kathy) Dobis, Kevin Dobis, Glenn (Kelly) Dobis, and Elaine (Mike) Sanfilippo. Grandfather of Brian (Christie) Dobis, Kristy (Jameson) Dobis, Michael (Ashley) Sanfilippo, Matthew (Rachel Booth) Sanfilippo, and David Sanfilippo. Step-grandfather of Colton Bonk and Cooper Bonk. Son of the late Pauline Dobis.

Ed was a supervisor for the Department of Labor-Industry (Unemployment Compensation). He was proud of his time spent in the military, serving as Corporal in the United States Army, during the Korean War.

As per Ed’s wishes, services were held privately for the family. Arrangements are entrusted to ANTHONY G. STAAB FUNERAL HOME, INC., 900 Chartiers Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15220.
