Age 81, of Hampton, Virginia, formerly of Elliott, on Monday, February 27, 2012. Beloved wife of the late John P. Harrington; loving mother of Jeanette (Richard) Nieder, James (Marcia) Nieder, and Elizabeth (Frank) Nieder-Bocka; stepmother of Dennis (Glenora), Sarah, and the late John Harrington; grandmother of James A. Nieder; step-grandmother of Stephen and Caitlin Harrington; sister of James (Gail) Holmes; also nieces and nephews. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at ANTHONY G. STAAB FUNERAL HOME, INC., 900 Chartiers Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15220. Mass of Christian Burial in The Roman Catholic Church of the Ascension, Ingram, on Monday at 9:30 a.m. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to an animal shelter of one's choice.
