Georgina Hassett Obituary

Age 96, of Banksville, on Friday, January 13, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Albert Prosser and Joseph Hassett; loving mother of the late Marlene Scherer and Albert Prosser; mother-in-law of Rose Prosser and Gordon Scherer; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister of Grace Hafen, Geraldine Bright; preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 Sunday only at the ANTHONY G. STAAB FUNERAL HOME, INC., 900 Chartiers Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15220. Funeral Service on Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment in Southside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gateway Hospice, 9380 McKnight Rd., Suite 201, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
