Karen Ann "Red" Wiliszowski

On Sunday, our hearts were broken as we mourned the loss of our beloved younger sister, Karen Ann (Red) Wiliszowski, 64, of Elliott, Pittsburgh, PA. Karen passed away of heart failure after a far-to-short life on Sunday, July 31, 2022, after a long and trying battle with kidney disease.

Karen was born on June 27, 1958 in Pittsburgh, PA, as the youngest child of John P. and Antoinette L.cWiliszowski of the West End of Pittsburgh. Karen attended St. James parochial school in the West End and Langley High School in Sheraden. Karen met her life's partner, James (Jim) Rasbach in 1986 and throughout her life, Karen focused her love, energy and attention on Jim, family and her beloved shelties Bella, Jax, Luna and buying endearing little gifts for family, friends and her dogs.

Karen was preceded in death by mother Antoinette (2008) and her father John (2010). She is survived by her brother John Wiliszowski (wife Connie) of Wareham, MA, sister Donna Wiliszowski (Mickley) (husband-Lon) of Moon Township, PA and significant other and partner James Rasbach of Pittsburgh, PA. She also leaves other family members, dear friends and her sometimes misbehaving dog Luna.

We will miss our younger sister, as will those she impacted and friended throughout her life.
