Maureen A. McMahon

Maureen A. McMahon, age 77, of Beaver Falls, formerly of Elliott, departed from her earthly home on Monday, November 11, 2024. Beloved daughter of the late Patrick H. and Anna Mae (Newham) McMahon. Loving sister of William (Valerie) McMahon and the late John “Jake” McMahon, James “Jimmy” McMahon, and Thomas McMahon. Maureen is survived by her nieces and nephews, Monica (Ted), Jennifer (John), Brian (Liz), Teresa (Kevin), Tommy, Pete (Cheryl), Shaun, Max, Luke, John, Connor, William, Brennan, Grady, Addie, Pattie and a great-niece, Meadow. Maureen will be sadly missed by many loving cousins and close friends.

Maureen was a kind, loving, generous, and gentle soul. Anyone close to her knew she was passionate about her Catholic faith and loyal to her family and friends. Maureen worked tirelessly with her brothers, Jake and Bill, to establish the family business, McMahon’s Cycle Sales, in Beaver Falls, now celebrating 50 plus years. She left her familiar surroundings and many friends in the Pittsburgh area, to relocate to the Beaver Falls area, to be close to the family business. Maureen’s favorite lunchtime routine was sharing mimosas with her brother Bill and his wife Valerie.

The family would like to thank all the caregivers at Franciscan Manor and Advanced Hospice for loving Maureen and keeping her comfortable. “The train has arrived. RIP – Love you!”

Friends received Friday, November 15th from 10 a.m. until time of Blessing Service at 1 p.m. at ANTHONY G. STAAB FUNERAL HOME, INC., 900 Chartiers Ave., Pgh, PA 15220. Burial to follow in St. Martin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Maureen’s family suggests donations be made to St. Monica Catholic Academy, 609 10th St., Beaver Falls, PA 15010.
