Patricia A. (Vallor) Schwartzmiller

Patricia A. (Vallor) Schwartzmiller, age 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 2, 2024. She was born on November 27, 1935, in Pittsburgh, to the late Edward and Dorothy (Steighner) Vallor.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Richard J. Schwartzmiller and grandson, Michael R. Schwartzmiller.

Family was everything to Pat and she was known for her homemade pies, cookies, and exceptional cooking. Her kitchen was the heart of her home. She and her late husband, Rich, spent many summers at their camp-the trailer, where family and friends gathered to create lasting memories and enjoy the outdoors.

Pat, affectionately known as "GiGi" to her great-grandchildren, is survived by three sons and three daughters-in-law, Jack Schwartzmiller (Marysue), Matthew P. Schwartzmiller (Annette), and Rick Schwartzmiller (Chris); five grandchildren, Anneliese Perry (Josh), Julie Kellenberger (Tyler), Matthew D. Schwartzmiller (Allyson), R.J. Schwartzmiller (Mikayla), and Madison Schwartzmiller; and six great grandchildren, Josef, Norah, Grace, Amelia, Samantha, and Michael.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the caring and compassionate community team from UMPC Family Hospice and the staff from Presbyterian SeniorCare—The Willows in Oakmont, who provided care and support during her final days. Your kindness and dedication meant the world to us.

Services to commemorate Pat's life will be held privately for her immediate family. Arrangements are entrusted to ANTHONY G. STAAB FUNERAL HOME, INC., 900 Chartiers Ave., Pgh, PA 15220.
