Age 79, of Robinson Township, on Sunday, January 15, 2023. Beloved husband of Mary (Sweitzer) Kannenberg; loving father of Yvonne (Richard) Glenn, Lorraine (Dan) Kowalski, Paulette (fiancé Matt Broussard) Kannenberg, Sharie (George) Santiago and Justin J. Waxter; adoring grandfather of Alexis (fiancé Kyle), Richard, Mike (Nicole), Megan (fiancé Jessica), Julia Lee (Chris), Ricky Lee (Jenna), Jordan, Austin (fiancé Alex) and Liána (Chase); great-grandfather of Violet Jade and the late baby Jack; brother of Tom (Mary) Kannenberg, Kathy (Dave) Klopfer and Eileen (Ed) Czarnecki; son of the late Paul A. and Esther (Carroll) Kannenberg. Paul will be sadly missed by many loving nieces, nephews, friends, and all of the Sweitzer families, but especially his beloved cat Romeo. Friends received Wednesday, 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., at ANTHONY G. STAAB FUNERAL HOME, INC., 900 Chartiers Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15220. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Philip Church of St. Philip Parish, 50 W. Crafton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15205. Interment private.
