Sr. Alice Gotti, CDP

Sister Alice (Mary Virginia) Gotti, suddenly, on Monday, November 20, 2023. Sr. Alice was born on November 5, 1937 in Youngstown, Ohio. She entered the Sisters of Divine Providence in 1954 and professed Final Vows in 1964. For many years, Sister Alice served as a Catholic School teacher and Principal in Pennsylvania and Michigan. She received both BS and ME degrees from Duquesne University. Later, Sister Alice went to CCAC and became certified as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, retiring from Pittsburgh Mercy Health System in June, 2017. Sister was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Alice (Bodine) Gotti; siblings Martha, Frank, Robert, Howard, Alice Reber, Daisy Joyce, and Jane Dow. Sister is survived by two sisters-in-law, Mary Beth (Howard) and Frances (Robert), many nieces and nephews, long-time friend Linda Rendulic and the Sisters of Divine Providence and their Associates. Visitation will take place in the Visitation Chapel at Kearns Spirituality Center, 9000 Babcock Blvd., Allison Park, PA 15101, on Friday, November 24, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Mass of Resurrection to follow at 3:30 pm. Burial will follow in the Sisters’ Cemetery.  All who are vaccinated are welcome to participate.  Chapel events will be livestreamed at https://video.ibm.com/ channel /Q4zW6rUvwPq.  Arrangements entrusted to ANTHONY G.
