Sister Candace passed to eternal life on Monday, May 22, 2023. She was the daughter of Helen (Young) and James V. Introcaso. Candace entered the Sisters of Divine Providence on September 9, 1978, made First Profession of Vows on September 6, 1980 and Final Vows on September 6, 1980. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Shippensburg University in Psychology, her Master’s from Fordham University in Sociology, and her Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Claremont Graduate University in California. Sr. Candace was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by siblings Dolores Berube, George Introcaso, and Joan Wilson-Dershem and the Sisters of Divine Providence and their Associates. Viewing will take place on Friday, May 26th from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, May 27th at 11:00 a.m. All will take place in Visitation Chapel at The Commons at Providence Heights, 9000 Babcock Blvd., Allison Park, PA 15101. La Roche University will hold a Memorial Mass Honoring the Legacy of President Introcaso on Wednesday, May 31st at 11:00 a.m. in the Mother of Divine Providence Chapel in the former motherhouse. Following Mass, a luncheon will be held in the Campus Center Square of the Zappala Campus Center at La Roche University.
