On Thursday, December 14, 2023, Sister Frances entered eternal life. She was born in Monaca, PA, and entered the Sisters of Divine Providence on September 12, 1954, from St. John the Baptist Parish, making Final Vows on August 12, 1962. Sister Frances earned her BS degree from Duquesne University and taught in schools in the Pittsburgh Diocese, Ohio, and Michigan, but spent most of her years in education in Phoenix and Scottsdale area of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, Renault and Rose (LaValle) DeSalle and twin brothers, Frank and Renault. She is survived by other relatives and the Sisters of Divine Providence and their Associates. Friends will be received on Monday, December 18th from 2–4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday, December 19th at 11 a.m. All will take place in Visitation Chapel at Kearns Spirituality Center, 9000 Babcock Boulevard, Allison Park, PA 15101.
